All India Executive meet of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh begins in Chennai today

Chennai November 2, 2012:



Sarsanghachalak Mohanji Bhagawat inaugurated the 3 day Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh “All India Excutive Meet” (अखिल भारतीय कार्यकारिणी मंडळ, ABKM) at Shiva Shankar Baba Ashram, Kelambakkam near Chennai,  a short while ago.

RSS General Secretary Shri Sureshji (Bhaiyyaji) Joshi accompanied Mohanji Bhagwat during the inaugural. RSS apex body paid tributes to several national leaders, great personalities who expired since March-2012.

State level office bearers of RSS, National office bearers of Sangh affiliated (Sangh Parivaar) organizations are attending the three days of the meeting.


Prominent leaders from Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, are attending the meeting.

Office bearers of Vidhya Bharati, Vijnana Bharati, Krida Bharati, Seva Bharati, Samskrit Bharati, Samskar Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati as well as leaders from Rashtra Sevika Samithi, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Deendayal Samshodhan Samsthan, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shaikshanika Mahasangh, Dharmajagaran are also participating in the conclave.

The Sanghachalak (President), Karyavah (Secretary), and Pracharak (Organizing secretary) heading each Prant (state units) of RSS from all over India are taking part in this ABKM that meets twice every year. Other than these state functionaries, 400 additional participants who are prominent



select activists from social organizations working in different walks of life in the society are also participating in the conclave.

On all these days, updates of the meeting will be given by senior officials of Sangh to the press. A media center has been set up for this purpose.

Resolution on Border Infiltration:



Addressing the media on Wednesday, 31st Oct, 2012; Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr. Manmohan Vaidya said that the ABKM likely to pass 2 resolutions.

1. Concerning the rampant of illegal immigration from Bangladesh and the threat posed to the very existence of the indigenous people by illegal Bangladeshi nationals and

2. The newly proposed Land Acquisition Bill, wherein the lands of Tribals are taken away for development of industries etc. and which affects the rural and farming sector.

Dr Manmohan Vaidya said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh propose to pass these two resolutions. Dr. Vaidya said more members of Executive Council are expected tomorrow and scope of resolutions could further expand after discussions with them.
